Install the Add-on

Get MiCompress from the Google Workspace Marketplace and authorize it for your Google account. Installation takes less than 30 seconds.

Open the Sidebar

In Google Docs or Slides, the MiCompress panel appears in the sidebar. Click 'Scan Images' to detect and list all images with their current sizes.

The add-on supports images up to 25MB each, which covers virtually all images you'd find in Google Docs or Slides. Most Google Workspace images are well under this limit.

Does it work with Google Sheets?
Currently, MiCompress Add-on supports Google Docs and Google Slides. Google Sheets support is on our roadmap and will be added in a future update.
