DMCA Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1. Introduction

MiCompress ("we", "our", "us") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the "DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the MiCompress service.

2. Nature of Our Service

Please note that MiCompress is a file conversion and compression utility. We do not host, publish, or distribute user files publicly. All uploaded files are automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing. Because of this automated, ephemeral nature, we do not have a public repository of user files to "take down." However, if you believe our service is being used repeatedly to infringe your copyrights, please contact us.

3. Submitting a DMCA Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Site by completing the following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to our Designated Copyright Agent.

Notice Requirements:

  • Identify the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  • Provide information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an email address, telephone number, and mailing address.
  • Provide a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Provide a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Provide your physical or electronic signature.

4. Contacting Our Designated Agent

Deliver the DMCA Notice, with all items completed, to our Designated Copyright Agent at:

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, MiCompress has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users or IP addresses who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
