# MiCompress

> MiCompress (micompress.com) compresses images, PDFs, video, audio, Office documents, EPUB books and archives in the browser, through a REST API, and through an MCP server for AI agents. No account is needed; a free personal API key raises the size limits.

Compression presets: `lossless` keeps quality identical, `recommended` balances size and quality, `extreme` gives the smallest file. Compressed files are kept for 24 hours; uploaded originals are deleted within about 10 minutes.
